Lock and unlock workflow
Refer to the "How to create a new workflow?" and "How to run a workflow?", to build a flow and run it.
When you are satisfied with the flow, you (the owner) can lock the workflow to prevent further changes.
Note
- Only the owner of the workflow can lock and unlock it.
- When unlock, anyone who has access to the workspace can edit, schedule and run the flow.
Lock the workflow
To lock the flow, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and from the drop-down select Lock
, as shown below.
A popup requesting for a confirmation will open. Click Lock workflow
button and the flow will be locked. You can see a lock icon beside the workflow name, indicating your workflow is now locked.
No further changes can be made to it unless it's unlocked by the owner.
Unlock the workflow
Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Unlock
. Again, a popup requesting a confirmation to unlock the flow with open. Click on Unlock workflow
button to unlock it.
You will notice the lock icon has disappeared, indicating the workflow is unlocked. Now, anyone with access to your workspace can make changes to the flow, run it, or schedule it.
