Lock and unlock flow
Refer to the "How to create a new automation?" and "How to run an automation?", to build a flow and run it.
When you are satisfied with the flow, you (the owner) can lock it to prevent further changes.
Note
- Only the owner of the flow can lock and unlock it.
- When unlocked, anyone who has access to the workspace can edit, schedule and run the flow.
Lock the automation flow
To lock the flow, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and from the drop-down select Lock
, as shown below.
A popup requesting for a confirmation will open. Click Lock workflow
and the flow will be locked. You can see a lock icon beside the workflow name, indicating your flow is now locked.
No further changes can be made to it unless it's unlocked by the owner.

Unlock the automation flow
Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Unlock
. Again, a popup requesting a confirmation to unlock the flow with open. Click on Unlock workflow
button to unlock it.
You will notice the lock icon has disappeared, indicating that the flow is unlocked. Now, anyone with access to your workspace can make changes to the flow, run it, or schedule it.
